Europe: Romania, est. 1866
Romania's history dates back to the ancient Dacian civilization, later becoming part of the Roman Empire. After the fall of Rome, the area was controlled by the Ottoman Empire and influenced by various european powers. Striving for a united independent state, the Principality of Moldavia and Wallachia unified, officially forming the Kingdom of Romania in 1881, which later became a communist state in 1947 until the 1989 Revolution, when the communist regime was overthrown.
First used in the Wallachian uprising of 1821 and adopted in 1866, Romania’s flag features vertical stripes of blue, yellow, and red. Blue symbolizes liberty, yellow stands for justice, and red represents fraternity.
High quality and durable flag patches for collectors, airsofters and members of the military. Also serves as a morale patch.
